PMPO Easement Project: Crestline Road

From the County Park to Birch Hill

Crestline and Birch Hill are now marked with Road Marker numbers. Road Markers 3 through 26, for the most part, are the little 20 foot wide roads that, on a map, run straight north and south. On the ground, most roads aren't very straight and some of the roads marked on the map were never cut through (this situation will wait for another time).

As you can see by the County Map (below), the 'straight' roads running north and south are marked as 'Public Roads'. Often in a title search, depending on the title company used, these properties all show as 'land-locked'. At that time, we provide the needed documentation, and the title company adds that to their records, thereby clearing the cloud on the title.

A couple of other roads off Crestline do have legal, deeded easements and it appears that all property owners may be included with easements (this would need to be verified with county records on a case-by-case basis).

There are a few Crestline Road addresses back in on Birch Hill which may be confusing. These properties will be included when we are in the area on Birch Hill.
